For last several decades research has attempted elucidate a variety predictive factors order aid identification patients at high risk developing schizophrenia spectrum disorder. These have included premorbid or prodromal movement symptoms. The literature identified motor aberrations beginning life, some cases even infancy, ranging from neonatal hypotonicity facial upper body dyskinesia. symptoms not only been demonstrated predicting conversion but carry prognostic for other outcomes well.
